Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 15th, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Cybrec. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cybrec’s website, educational content, virtual laboratory environments, training services, subscriptions, bootcamps, programs, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

Cybrec reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

To access certain Services, you may be required to create an account.

Account Registration: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain the accuracy of your account information.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.

Unauthorized Access: You agree to notify Cybrec immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or suspected security breach.

Account Suspension: Cybrec reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, compromise infrastructure security, or engage in prohibited activities.

2. Educational Services

Cybrec provides structured cybersecurity education including courses, programs, bootcamps, protected educational resources, downloadable materials, recorded sessions, and hands-on virtual laboratory environments.

Content Access: Access to specific content may depend on active subscriptions, memberships, ownership-based purchases, or other entitlement requirements.

Protected Content: Certain educational materials, videos, downloads, workbooks, quizzes, topology files, and laboratory resources may be protected and accessible only to authorized users.

Platform Structure: Cybrec operates as a structured training platform rather than a traditional learning-management system. Educational content, practical labs, and runtime infrastructure may be delivered through separate but integrated systems.

Content Updates: Cybrec reserves the right to modify, update, remove, replace, or reorganize educational content, learning paths, or platform features at any time.

3. Subscriptions, Memberships, Purchases and Refunds

Certain Services require payment through subscriptions, memberships, bootcamp purchases, or other paid access models.

Billing: Payments are processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe. By purchasing Services, you authorize applicable charges and recurring billing where relevant.

Membership Access: Subscription tiers may grant different levels of access to courses, programs, downloadable resources, and virtual laboratory environments.

Bootcamp Access: Bootcamp purchases may provide ownership-style access to specific recorded content libraries independent of subscription-based membership tiers.

Pricing Changes: Cybrec reserves the right to modify pricing, subscription structures, membership benefits, or service availability at any time.

Refunds: All subscriptions, memberships, bootcamp purchases, virtual laboratory access, and related Services are billed in advance and are non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused time, upgrade or downgrade changes, temporary service interruptions, or partially used memberships. In order to maintain consistency and fairness across all users, no exceptions will be made unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Virtual Laboratory Services

Cybrec provides infrastructure-backed virtual laboratory environments ("vLabs") designed for hands-on cybersecurity training.

Educational Purpose: Virtual laboratory environments are provided solely for authorized educational and training purposes.

Runtime Sessions: Virtual laboratory environments are temporary cloud-based execution environments dynamically provisioned through third-party infrastructure providers.

Usage Limits: Cybrec currently enforces a maximum annual runtime allocation of 500 hours per user together with a one-active-lab-per-user limitation. Additional runtime limitations, session durations, or regional restrictions may apply.

Automatic Shutdown: Virtual laboratory sessions may be automatically terminated, suspended, reset, or deleted after expiration, inactivity, operational cleanup, policy enforcement, security events, infrastructure limitations, or service interruptions.

Temporary Infrastructure: Virtual laboratory environments are ephemeral and no guarantee is made regarding persistence of user activity, configuration changes, uploaded files, or runtime state. Users are responsible for exporting or preserving any work they wish to retain.

Availability: Virtual laboratory availability may be affected by cloud-provider availability, infrastructure capacity, networking conditions, maintenance, or security-related events. Cybrec does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of virtual laboratory services.

Region Selection: Certain virtual laboratory environments may allow deployment-region selection. Available regions and infrastructure locations may change without notice.

Infrastructure Providers: Virtual laboratory infrastructure may utilize services provided by third-party cloud providers including Google Cloud Platform and related infrastructure services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful and authorized educational purposes.

Prohibited Activities: You may not attempt unauthorized access to systems or infrastructure, interfere with platform operation or security, share protected educational content unlawfully, abuse subscriptions or entitlement systems, reverse engineer protected platform components, use virtual laboratories for cryptocurrency mining, conduct unauthorized scanning or attacks against third-party systems, host unrelated public services or external workloads, circumvent runtime limitations or access controls, or use the Services for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

Infrastructure Protection: Cybrec reserves the right to monitor, restrict, suspend, or terminate runtime environments or accounts that threaten platform integrity, infrastructure security, or service availability.

Security Monitoring: Virtual laboratory environments and platform infrastructure may be monitored for abuse prevention, operational integrity, security enforcement, troubleshooting, and compliance purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, educational materials, videos, graphics, branding, software, layouts, learning paths, downloads, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Cybrec unless otherwise stated.

Limited License: Cybrec grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal educational purposes.

Restrictions: Users may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, resell, sublicense, modify, or commercially exploit protected content without prior written permission.

Third-Party Materials: Certain educational resources or vendor-related materials may remain subject to third-party intellectual-property rights.

7. Third-Party Services

Cybrec integrates with third-party infrastructure and service providers to deliver portions of the Services.

Infrastructure Providers: Platform functionality may rely on providers including hosting providers, public cloud providers, payment gateways, and related infrastructure or technology services.

Third-Party Availability: Cybrec is not responsible for interruptions, outages, delays, or limitations caused by third-party infrastructure providers.

External Links and Resources: The Services may contain links to external websites or resources not controlled by Cybrec. Cybrec is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

8. Privacy and Data Processing

Use of the Services is also governed by Cybrec’s Privacy Policy.

Operational Data: Cybrec may process operational runtime metadata including session identifiers, infrastructure activity, runtime duration, selected regions, public IP addresses assigned to runtime environments, and infrastructure lifecycle events.

Security and Logging: Platform activity, runtime sessions, infrastructure events, and security-related activity may be logged for operational integrity, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, auditing, and security enforcement.

9. Service Availability and Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

No Warranty: Cybrec makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, reliability, accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the Services.

Infrastructure Limitations: Virtual laboratory services may be affected by cloud-provider limitations, regional capacity exhaustion, infrastructure maintenance, networking conditions, security events, or distributed-system failures.

Educational Nature: Educational content and laboratory environments are provided for training purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, operational, or security advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cybrec and its affiliates, operators, providers, partners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Services.

This includes damages related to service interruptions, data loss, runtime failures, infrastructure outages, security incidents, lost business opportunities, lost profits, and educational interruptions.

Cybrec’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the applicable Services during the preceding twelve months.

11. Termination

Cybrec reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services at any time for violations of these Terms, abuse of infrastructure, security concerns, payment issues, unlawful activity, or operational necessity.

Termination may result in the loss of access to subscriptions, educational content, runtime environments, downloadable materials, and related Services.

Users may discontinue use of the Services at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts determined by Cybrec.

13. Changes to These Terms

Cybrec may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in Services, infrastructure architecture, operational practices, legal requirements, pricing models, or security policies.

The most current version of the Terms will always be available on the Website.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Cybrec regarding the Services and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, communications, or prior versions of these Terms relating to the Services.

Cybrec reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, update, add, or remove portions of this Agreement at any time, with or without notice. The most current version of the Agreement will be made available on the Website.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
